Dead cells blueprints steamcommunity10/20/2023 ![]() ![]() until you find one blueprint in this run, each level has a 30% chance that one monster holds a blueprint you don't have yet. I'd much prefer if the blueprints drop rates were much higher, so that you have a good chance of getting them. There are cool weapons I'd like to try but I'm just not getting them - and some probably won't. That can be a design choice but I don't like it. Only a select lucky few will get the rare collectibles. The current drop rates imply that some weapons are not meant to be found. The more rare, the more players won't get it, even after playing a ridiculous amount of time. Given a large enough players base, randomness will keep gear away from some. Long-range, short-range, fast, slow, evasive, combo, defensive. One cool thing about Dead Cells is the variety of gameplay provided by the gears. I can already see the looming hate for Spiteful Sword. This forum has generally a perception that unlocking most of things puts you at a disadvantage. They drop from common enemies and would become a commodity with a 0.2% chance. Ultra rare tier should stay as it is, and I'm saying it as someone who doesn't have any of these items and who only got one very rare in a lv 500+ Doto Battle Pass. I agree with raising the odds for rare enemies like spinners. I can't go through my favourite path because of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spawn rates. I go through this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Promenade every time killing all phazers and defenders while skipping everything else, but it's no use. I still don't have phaser, damage boost or lure. Ultra rare drops are not a necessity and will not drop for most players. It always has some secrets waiting for you each run and is impossible to complete it 100%. ![]() I think the game's not supposed to give you everything it has to offer in a calculatable time. This makes it difficult to farm, I have only killed 304 defenders between all runs, compared to 600+ of everything in Fog Fjord.Īs for the rest of the 0.4% drops, I would like to see them raised to 0.5% or even 0.6%, possibly even higher, as it will be harder to grind all items as more and more are added. You typically see around 5 or 6 defenders a run, and only in promenade. The Corrupted Power and Lure drops from Defenders in Promenade could also use an increase to 1.7%, as Defenders are a rare enemy. The Crusher dropped by Spinners in Sephulcre should be a 1.7% chance drop, other rare large monsters have this drop rate, I'm not sure why Spinners don't, they're very rare and in the hardest area only. What I would like however, is for a few of the 0.4% drop rate items to move up to 1.7%. The 1.7% drop rate items are all fine, infact, I've seen all of these, though I died and lost the torch in ossuary. I think it's safe to say the rarest drops are too rare. So what I would suggest be done with these is First, remove the rarest drop tier, and change those drop rates to 0.4%, or at the leat something like 0.2%. The reality is for a lot of players, it's simply never happening, they'll beat the game, get bored, and quit long before getting all of these. On any given one of these drops, 22% of players will not have seen the blueprint drop after 5,000 kills and 53% will kill at least one of these monster types 5000 times without the blueprint drop. The problem is vastly worse with the super rare, 0.03% droprate blueprints, for infinite bow, blood shield, and spiteful sword. 87.5% of players will be missing at least one 0.4% blueprint after 611 kills on a monster. However, with 22 other 0.4% droprate blueprints to consider, it is very likely that a player will be missing atleast one of these blueprints for an extended amount of time. Now it is unlikely that any given player will kill 611 pirate captains without a blueprint drop, as mentioned above 91% will recieve the drop by this point. There are 40 randomly dropped blueprints in this game, of which 14 have a 1.7% droprate, 23 have a 0.4% droprate, and 3 have an astronomically low 0.03% droprate. Because of this, it might seem like a rare problem to have, but really it's not. Now this isn't a problem most people face, infact 91% of people will get the blueprint drop withing 611 kills. I have killed 611 pirate captains, and I have never seen the blueprint for wrenching whip dropped. ![]() In order to explain the problem with current blueprint droprates, I'm going to use an example from my experience with this game.
